Happy Pre-V-Day

Happy Valentine's Day to all the couples! 祝全天下的情侣们情人节快乐!
For me who already been a "yat ji gung" 一支公 for past 23 years, 一支公快乐!

Well, share with you this podcast by 987fm DJ Justin Ang & Vernon A on how to interpret or modify 2 popular English songs into Valentine's mood...very very funny, very 抵死...even though it has been released one year ago:

Yesterday, got myself a free Singapore Flyer complimentary ticket which I won in earlier contest from WorldCard office at Dhoby Ghaut (very far...). Plan to use this opportunity to capture photos from the capsule high in the sky...perhaps after FYP report submission?

Don't know for this visit, will the Flyer halt again for x hours and get rescued from the capsule using sling-like device? More worth and exciting, but choi choi choi, touchwood!

As I didn't come out from NTU since came back from Malaysia after CNY celebration (which is 2 weeks+ ago), gave myself a treat at Jurong Point then. Have my brunch at Delifrance Bistro with seared fish w black pepper meal set (S$11.90, S$14.00 after tax).

In fact, Delifrance offers affordable set meals in weekdays after 11.30am: S$7.90 & S$11.90 set, which consist of soup of the day/maison salad, main dish, dessert and coffee/tea. And in every different day, it offers different main dishes, say I was offered to choose between seared fish set or chicken + steak chop set for S$11.90 meal package, whereas S$7.90 are mostly spaghetti or pastas.

Corn soup with garlic bread, nice one.

Coffee...quite a big cup, right?

The main dish, seared fish with black pepper, together with cauliflowers, carrot sticks and fries. The meat isn't that delicious, quite rough.

The finale, strawberry cake. Yummy dessert and really have strawberries inside!! But somehow the strawberries are covered with shaved ice. Is the fridge too cold?

Does its icing layer looks like salmon fish?

Overall, at a price of S$14.00 after tax and service charge, Delifrance offers very affordable set meals to the mass market (the S$7.90 set meals are even cheaper!), especially in this period of recession, everyone would like to choose the best product at the value price. So, if you somehow would like to have a full lunch or dinner after school or work, you may give Delifrance a try. The whole portion is quite sufficient to fill your stomach and last for 2-3 hours.

Then, back to university. Said farewell to my Final Year Project's research fellow, Rajni, where her contract is ending and going back to India soon, and welcomed the new research fellow, Majid from Iran. Majid is a friendly person and treated us cashew nuts in two consecutive days! (after heard me saying that the nuts are very nice to munch, haha.) Thanks a lot!

Mixed nuts brought far away from Iran.

Evening, went to Chocolate Affairs & Valenwine event organized by NTU Wine Society & Rotaract Club.

Crowded with people who are busy savouring different kind of wines and chocolates...at only S$1 (for 5 different wines)!!! Somemore there is lucky draws for vouchers, chocolates, and wines! No luck to get any prices but have the opportunity to try different kinds of wines, be it Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merloz, from Australia, Brazil, or...etc.

Some of my friend got lucky prizes of chocolates, Risk board game & wines! Congrats!

STOP!!!

Are you under 21 years old?

If yes, you are not allowed to continue to read this post...really! R21 / Lapan-belas-SX!

People without clothes cannot go in??? (Photos taken at the exit of Kamasutra exhibition)

"The Kama Sutra (Sanskrit: कामसूत्र), (alternative spellings: Kamasutram or simply Kamasutra), is an ancient Indian text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behavior in Sanskrit literature written by the Indian scholar Vatsyayana. A portion of the work consists of practical advice on sex. Kāma means sensual or sexual pleasure, and sūtra are the guidlines of yoga, the word itself means thread in Sanskrit." ~ Wikipedia.

Actually it was a small chocolate exhibition of Kamasutra, where patterns of sexual behaviors are crafted on top of the chocolate. Sounds interesting right? Photos were blur blur a bit, can't see properly, harrr...or am I too excited or too nervous to take photos?

*Demi kebaikan penonton masyarakat umum, gambar di atas telah diblurkan. Terima kasih*

Dinner treated by Boon Pin with vegetarian pizzas from Canteen A's Canadian Pizza.

After this blog, aja aja fighting for my Continuous Assessments next week and Final Year Project experiments and projects. Good day!
